1. About AiPulse
AiPulse is a news application that allows users to browse news articles, explore available news sources, and request AI-powered summaries of articles.
AiPulse does not currently require users to create an account or sign in to use the application.
2. Information We Process
AiPulse is designed to provide news and AI-powered article understanding without requiring users to create an account.
Depending on how you use the App, the following types of information may be processed:
- News article information such as titles, descriptions, images, publication dates, source names, and article URLs.
- Information required to retrieve and display news content from third-party news services.
- Article content that you request to have summarized by the AI feature.
- Technical information required for the App and its connected services to function.
- Article data stored locally on your device for caching and performance purposes.
AiPulse does not currently collect account information because the current version of the App does not require registration or login.
3. How We Use Information
Information processed by AiPulse may be used to:
- Retrieve and display news articles.
- Display available news sources.
- Provide article images and related information.
- Generate AI-powered article summaries when requested.
- Generate AI-based sentiment information where available.
- Cache article information locally on your device.
- Maintain and improve the functionality of the App.
- Diagnose technical problems and maintain security.
We do not sell personal information.
4. News and Third-Party Content
AiPulse retrieves news articles and related information from third-party news and content providers.
This information may include:
- Article titles
- Article descriptions
- Article images
- Publisher or source names
- Publication dates
- Article URLs
- Other metadata provided by the relevant news service
AiPulse does not claim ownership of third-party articles, images, publisher names, logos, or other third-party content.
When you open an article or follow a link to a third-party publisher, that publisher may process information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
5. AI-Powered Article Summaries
AiPulse provides an AI-powered summary feature that can be accessed through the Floating Action Button on the Article screen.
When you request an AI summary, relevant content from the selected article may be sent to the AI service used by AiPulse to generate the requested summary.
The AI service processes the information necessary to generate the requested response.
AI-generated summaries may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
AI-generated summaries are provided for informational purposes only. They should not be considered guaranteed factual information, professional advice, financial advice, or investment advice.
Users should refer to the original article and its publisher when complete or authoritative information is required.
6. Article Sentiment
AiPulse may provide an AI-generated indication of an article's sentiment.
Sentiment information is automatically generated and may not fully represent the author's intent, the context of the article, or the views expressed by its publisher.
Sentiment information should therefore be treated as informational only and not as a definitive assessment of an article or its subject.
7. Local Storage and Caching
AiPulse may store news article information locally on your Android device using local application storage, including Room Database.
Local caching may be used to:
- Improve application performance.
- Reduce unnecessary network requests.
- Allow previously retrieved article information to remain available locally.
- Provide a smoother reading experience.
Locally stored application data can generally be removed by clearing the App's data or uninstalling AiPulse.
8. Firebase and Cloud Services
AiPulse may use Firebase and Google Cloud services to support application functionality.
Where Firebase Cloud Firestore is used, information required by the App may be processed and stored through Google's Firebase infrastructure.
AiPulse does not currently use Firebase Authentication for user login or account creation.
Firebase and Google services may process technical information necessary to provide, secure, and operate their services.

9. Third-Party Services
AiPulse may use third-party services to provide its functionality, including:
- News/content APIs used to retrieve news articles.
- AI APIs used to generate article summaries and sentiment information.
- Firebase and Google services used by the application.
- Google Play services required to distribute the application.
These third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
10. Data Retention
AiPulse retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App's functionality and maintain its services.
Article information stored locally on your device remains there until it is removed by clearing the App's data, uninstalling the App, or otherwise removing the stored data.
Third-party services used by AiPulse may have their own data retention policies.
11. Data Deletion
Because the current version of AiPulse does not require user accounts, there is no AiPulse user account that needs to be deleted.
Locally cached information can be removed by clearing the App's application data or uninstalling AiPulse from your device.
Information that has already been processed by third-party services may be subject to those providers' own retention and deletion policies.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information processed through AiPulse.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children's Privacy
AiPulse is not specifically directed toward children under the applicable minimum age required by law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

14. Third-Party Links
AiPulse may provide links to third-party news publishers and external websites.
We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their privacy practices, security, content, or policies.

When changes are made, we will update the Effective Date shown at the beginning of this policy and publish the updated version on this page.
